Professional Hand Washing and Preservation of Wedding Gowns

Keepsake Bridal Hand Washing is a professional Wedding Gown Cleaning service that takes care of all your Wedding Gown preservation needs. Your Wedding Gown is cleaned by hand and any minor repairs can be taken care of as required at the time complimentary by our in house Dressmaker. Complementary Veil cleaning with and gown. Shoe cleaning available too

Wedding gown specialists

It can take many hours of cleaning by hand to restore your Wedding Gown after your special day, every effort and care is taken to achieve a ‘as near new as possible’ appearance after the cleaning process is complete.

DRYING PROCESS

Your Wedding Gown is fully air-dried only, with no machines or artificial processes used as this can damage the fabric. This process varies in time time depending on the fabric, amount of layers and linings.

MINOR repairs

Once your Wedding Gown is fully dried, any minor damage can be repaired at no extra cost as part of the hand washing cleaning process. Please note major damage or repair will incur any extra charge.

STEAMING

Once the cleaning and drying process is complete, your Wedding Gown will be fully professionally steamed and ready for the next chapter. Whether you decide to store your Wedding Gown for Keepsake or sell it as a Pre-loved Gown is up to you.

BOXING AVAILABLE

If you’re choosing to preserve your Wedding Gown, it is highly recommended that you store your Gown in a preservation box wrapped in acid free tissue paper. Wedding Gowns can be sent home and stored in their original dress bag, however we don’t recommence storing them for longer than six months in this way. If you are planning to resell your Wedding Dress there is no need to box it.
